A team of multi-specialty physicians and podiatrists with advanced training in wound treatment along with a wound care certified nurse will work with your physician to create your own unique treatment program.

Wound Management
PMC’s Wound Management and Infusion Center provides a specialized, comprehensive course of therapy to assist in the treatment of difficult, non-healing wounds.
There are many different types of wounds. Some are associated with complications from diabetes and other related vascular disorders. Other types include pressure sores and traumatic wounds. It can be very frustrating and time consuming to heal these wounds. At the Center we utilize the most up-to-date approaches to wound healing and remain current in new scientific advances in wound care. During your course of treatment, our Center works with your regular physician to compliment his/her services and assure complete continuity of all your medical care.
The Center is made up of a team of professionals that include:
- Physicians with advanced training in wound management.
- Certified Wound Care Nurse.
- Technicians who perform non-invasive studies and various therapies.
- Experienced staff to assist with appointments, medical records and health insurance processing.
A program specifically tailored to each individual patient’s needs is initiated based on the most effective treatment options. Your treatment may include:
- Infectious Disease Management
- Physical Therapy
- Vascular Evaluation
- Laboratory Evaluation
- Nutritional Management
- Pain Management
- Diabetic Education
- Nuclear Medicine

Infusion
As an alternative to hospitalization, the Infusion Center provides a wide range of infusion therapies, including:
- Blood Transfusion
- Therapeutic Injections
- PICC Line placement (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) for extended treatment
