Speaker’s Bureau
With changes occurring almost daily in the field of health care, the public often is confused about current issues and services. Parkway Medical Center wants to help our community to be as informed as possible about health care services and issues. One of the ways we do this is through the PMC Speaker’s Bureau, a free service offered to businesses and organizations in our service area. The goal of the Speaker’s Bureau is to help consumers learn more about the complex and ever-changing health care field, and the programs and services available through PMC. A variety of speakers and topics is offered, and presentations are tailored to meet the specific needs and interests of the group.
Some of the topics available are:
- Behavioral Health Services
- Birthing Center
- Careers in Health Care
- Health and Wellness
- Heart Health
- Living Wills
- Nutrition
- Stress Management
- Volunteering
Speakers include professionals from the PMC medical staff and many different hospital departments. These speakers represent a range of experience, expertise and services that we are eager to share with our community. To arrange a speaker for your business, civic group or other organization, call the PMC Marketing and Public Relations Department at 256.301.3431. Whenever possible, please allow at least 30 days’ notice before your meeting date so that we can be best prepared to meet your needs.
