Colorectal Form

To help educate people about how they can prevent and detect early-stage colorectal cancer, Parkway Medical Center is providing a free ColoCARE® at-home test kit for people who are ages 50+ and live in their service area (for a limited time and as the supply lasts.) The easy-to-use test includes three biodegradable papers you simply drop into the toilet then watch to observe any color changes. This kit tests for hidden blood in your stool, which can be a symptom of colorectal cancer or other GI disorders. However, colorectal cancer often does not have any symptoms in its earliest stages, which is why screening tests like colonoscopies – during which physicians can find and remove polyps – are the only way to prevent this cancer.

Upon completion of the form and qualification,* your free kit will be mailed to you within a week. You’ll also receive more information on what you can do to lower your risk for cancer.
