Parkway Medical Center is pleased to welcome our newest members of the Parkway Medical Staff – Dr. Me’Lissa Young-King and Dr. Linda Gordon of Kids Town Pediatrics; effective December 1, 2010.
Dr. Me’Lissa Young-King received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova southeastern University of Health Sciences in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She completed her pediatric residency in Miami, FL with Miami Children’s Hospital. Dr. Young-King is married with two daughters and has been practicing in Decatur since 2000. Dr. Young-King is Board Certified by the Board of American Academy of Osteopathic Pediatricians.
Dr. Linda Gordon received her Medical Degree from the University of Chicago-Pritzker in Chicago, IL. She completed her first two years of residency with Children’s Medical Center of Dallas in Dallas, TX and her third year at the Harlem Hospital Center, Columbia University as the Pediatric House Officer in New York, NY. Dr. Gordon’s family has relocated to Decatur from Virginia. Dr. Gordon is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics.
