New Family Practice Physician Joins Parkway Medical Center

Parkway Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Rachel Kennedy, Family Practice physician, to Gill Family Medicine and the Parkway Medical Center Staff.
Dr. Kennedy received her Bachelor of Science degree from Oral Roberts University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and her D.O. from Oklahoma State University. She recently completed her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
“Dr. Kennedy is a welcome addition to Gill Family Medicine and Parkway. Her skills as a Family Practice physician are very much needed in the Decatur area and we are excited to have her be a part of this great hospital and community”, said Tim McGill, Parkway CEO.
Dr. Kennedy and her husband fell in love with this area when they relocated here for his job. They have two beautiful daughters and look forward to raising them in Decatur. “I am passionate about caring for families and offering preventative care. I know that medicine is my ministry”, said Dr. Kennedy.
